Stress Management Exercise Program

Until now, employers who wish to contribute to the well-being of their staff for paying for any off site type of exercise would have to pay 49% fringe benefit tax (FBT).

The exercise association endorsed program called SMEAEP (stress management exercise association endorsed programme), currently offered country wide by SMEAEP endorsed personal trainers who are on the REPs register, is exempt from FBT and is also tax deductable. Melanie is the only SMEAEP endorsed Personal Trainer in Southland.

All our SMEAEP programmes are designed to manage employee stress levels. The type of programme is very individualised to meet the needs of each employee.

They all include an initial health assessment and a final report to the employer and are usually a 12 week duration. This can be extended if the individual requires.

Group fitness only - max of 3 classes per week
Personal training 1 x 30 min session per week
